Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne is an Hollywood actor, writer and bestselling novelist. Her talent has earned her international recognition. Sagittarius by birth, Julianne Moore was born on the 3rd of December, 1960 at North Carolina. She is one of the three children of Peter Moore Smith and Anne Smith. Peter was a parachutist. She's English, Scottish and of mixed heritage. Moore's father moved around a lot because of his job. It was difficult for her to make or keep friends. After her family relocated to Germany Moore attended Frankfurt American High School where she started appearing in plays. Her studies continued in Boston University, graduating in 1983 with a B.F.A. When she graduated, Moore moved to New York, where she began her journey in Off-Broadway Theater. Moore relocated into New York after graduating and began her career with off-broadway theater. In an episode of The Edge of Night in 1985, Moore made her first appearance on the screen. The following year, she took on in the roles of Frannie as well as Sabrina Hughes in As the World Turns, which was her first break. She was on As the World Turns until 1988. As a result of her character, she received a Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she was the first film actress to make her debut on cinema in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie which she later called an awful low-budget movie. Short Cuts was produced by Robert Altman in 1993 and 3 Women was released in 1997. The critically acclaimed performance of her in Short Cuts (1993) earned her several nominations. Moore got her first role as a lead with the film Safe (1995). Steven Spielberg chose Moore to portray the role of the protagonist in Jurassic Park: The Lost World. The movie was one of the most popular movies released in the year. She received an SAG nomination in 1999 for the part she was in Magnolia which was a highly praised film. In 2002, she co-starred with The Hours which got nominated for nine Academy Awards with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep. Moore was also featured in The Forgotten 2004, Freedomland, Shelter and Shelter 2010. Moore was a part of Non-Stop (2014). Moore was a regular in many films and television programs. Her most recent prominent roles was In 2022, After You Finish Securing the World. Her career has been established in Hollywood as well as being a bestselling author of children's books. Her first novel was published Freckleface Strawberry (2007) and became an N.Y.T. bestseller. bestseller, which led to the adaptation into a novel and musical. Her 2013 book, My Mom is a Foreigner also became a top-selling. Moore is a successful actress and writer. Her personal life, is therefore in the public domain. She was a bridesmaid to John Robin from 1984 until 1995. Bart Freundlich and Moore had two kids together. Moore's main focus is her family, friends and her work.
